Brownie & Chocolate Mousse Trifle

Posted on | February 27, 2011 | by Jennifer | 3 Comments

This one goes out to Whitney and Deb – they saw a pic of this chocolate trifle on my Facebook page and requested the recipe. This is the easiest dessert I’ve ever made, but one of the best and the presentation gets a lot of attention! I’ve made this brownie, chocolate mousse, and whip cream layered trifle several times. It feeds a lot of people, perfect for a pot luck or shower, and they all ask for the recipe... (more...)

To keep them a bit on the healthy side, I topped them with light sour cream and light Mexican cheese. The original recipe called for oregano which I replaced with cilantro because, as you already know, I am addicted to cilantro and... (more...)

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Hey Lauren, I made these cupcakes for Jessica’s birthday, my bud that crocheted the blanket for Vera, and they turned out perfect. They were an attempt to redeem myself from the red velvet cake disaster of 2008 lol. Lucy and I attempted a red velvet cake for Jeannie’s birthday years ago – I dumped the cakes out of the pan before they were cool, so they fell apart, I didn’t know the art of a crumb layer so... (more...)
