Hey Lauren,

Was this our best get together ever? I can’t remember the last time we had that much fun together. Was it cuz of the mudslides, hahha. I can’t believe mom was even pulling late nighters with us to watch our Office marathons! Not sure what my favorite part of the weekend was – Z ‘Bhardis restaurant, mudslides, hangin out with dad poolside, La Fiesta, margaritas, The Office, Moe Moe’s pizza party at the house, The Office, manicures (purple for mom with a flower, pink with white leopard for you, and lace for me), your chicken and dumplings soup, vino, The Office, your flight getting cancelled so we could spend one more night together, and more of The Office, hahah.

Icecream & Chocolate Sauce Mudslides

Source: Jennifer
Servings: 4

  • 3 cups ice
  • 3 cups vanilla icecream
  • 1/3 cup Kahlua
  • 1/3 cup Vodka
  • 1/3 cup Baileys
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate sauce (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons hot chocolate, powder or shavings (optional)

  1. Dip rim of glass in chocolate sauce. I used margarita glasses, just because they’re fun! :)

  2. Coat rim in hot chocolate. We picked up the best hot chocolate when I went to visit Lauren at the Seattle Williams Sonoma. It’s chocolate shavings that are melted stovetop with milk. So good! If you have powdered hot chocolate on hand, that works perfectly as well. Not a chocolate fan? Skip this step all together.

  3. Swirl chocolate sauce in glass.

  4. Blend ice, icecream, Kahlua, Vodka, and Baileys in a blender until thick, yet smooth and pour into decorated glass.

  5. Criss-cross a design on the top of the cocktail with chocolate sauce and then swirl with a toothpick. Enjoy!
